UTRECHT, The Netherlands – Communist Party of the Philippines Founding Chairman Jose Maria Sison is willing to revive peace talks with the Aquino administration.

He is even open to meet with President Aquino, similar to what the latter did in meeting Moro Islamic Liberation Front chairman Al Haj Murad Ebrahim in Tokyo almost three years ago.

CPP condemns resumption of Arroyo-era criminal cases vs. Satur Ocampo, others

The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) today denounced the Supreme Court for ordering the resumption of Arroyo-era criminal procedures against former Bayan Muna representative Satur Ocampo and scores of other progressive leaders and activists, as well as consultants of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) in peace negotiations.
