The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) was founded on the 26th December 1968 and the New People’s Army (NPA) was established by the CPP on the 29th March 1969. The CPP is the political Vanguard of the Filipino Proletariat and it is going to raise the level of the people’s war from the stage of strategic defensive to the stage of strategic stalemate.
